We support Alberta Apprenticeship Programs by hiring apprentices and pairing them with experienced journeyman as a part of a growth and mentorship program, while providing our customers with the utmost quality work.

Cory Roche

Cory Roche

President

Cory is a Journeyman red seal heavy equipment technician with 16 years of experience in the trade. Born and raised in Calgary, his entire family is from Ireland. His father Tom, founded Total Truck in 1996. Cory has a passion for building / fixing things so all his hobbies are “hands-on”. He records music for local bands, plays in a band and enjoys brewing his own beer (to name a few).

Service Co-ordinator

Jason was born in Guyana, South America and is very proud of it. When you come to the shop, you can always find him, hes the guy with the huge smile and fancy haircuts. On top of being world’s best service co-ordinator, Jay is also a licenced heavy equipment tech. In his spare time, he likes to build custom car audio setups and DJ. He’s all about the BASS!

Journeyman Technician

Robert has been with Total Truck since 1997. Hungarian born in Zrenjanin, Yugoslavia (now known as Serbia). He lived in Germany from 1991 to 1997, then moved to Canada. When he came in for his first interview, He brought his Aunt in to translate since he didn’t speak English! Robert is the 2nd most senior employee and continues to share his years of expertise and experience with our apprentices! Robert enjoys photography, bike riding, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two daughters. In case you were wondering, his English has gotten a little better. A little.

Welder / Tank Inspector

Devin grew up in the town of Kitimat, British Columbia and later moved to Alberta. His initial passion was in culinary arts so he commenced training in Nanaimo, BC at Malaspina University College to earn a Red Seal as a chef. Devin has cooked at a few restaurants over his 13 years but has the best stories from the Chateau Lake Louise. He decided to diversify from the chef industry and try his hand at welding. After burning himself on more than a few pieces of “slag”, he became licenced and moved right into the dangerous goods tank fabrication sector. Dev also has an impressive collection of comic books!

Technician

Joel is a “getter done” kind of guy. He loves getting into the big stuff, clutches, transmissions, engines and has the experience to do so with confidence. Joel has an “old school” mentality when it comes to approaching problems, he looks outside the box and does what it takes to get it done! He likes Fishing and swimming in his free time and in his own words, he` “hard working, cute, and handsome”.

Raz is our resident on-road hydraulics guy. He loves getting into tough problems and solving them. Raz has been a licenced Heavy Equipment Technician for 5 years. Raz was born and raised in Kabul, Afghanistan and is very culturally diverse. He speaks 4 languages, fluently, English, French, Urdu, and Farsi. Raz enjoys being active on his days off and likes to swim, skate, and hike in the mountains.

John Muise

Parts runner / Maintenance

Johnny has really experienced life, he’s worked in law offices to dog kennels (and just about everything in between). John has been with Total truck for 12 years and comes to work every day with a smile. He really enjoys getting to know people and can have conversation on pretty well any topic. His biggest love in life (besides his wife, daughter and grandkids) is the Beatles. He is an avid musician and can play pretty well every Beatles song, ever written, on guitar. Johnny has also written a book and is currently working on his second.

Tyler was born in Olds, Alberta. Growing up in rural Alberta taught Tyler hard work and hustle is the key to being successful in life. Tyler comes to the shop everyday ready to be challenged and give it all he’s got. Tyler likes “tinkering” on cars in his spare time but loves being a dad first.
 

Josh Leibel

Apprentice

Josh is currently a 4th year H.E.T. apprentice and is looking forward to becoming a Red Seal Journeyman in 2020!
He’s very passionate about restoring classic cars , so much so that his girlfriend isn’t sure who he loves more, her or the vette!
His most recent project is a 1980 Chevy Corvette – We can’t wait to see how it turns out!
